MAESTRIA-AFNET 10 – 3rd Investigator Meeting

Prof. Goette emphasized that it is very important not only to recruit further permanent AF patients, but also to keep the patients in the study until 1-year follow up. This final data is essential to correlate it with the data from Baseline visit. All collected data are welcome.
Many thanks to Natalie Arend, Project Manager at Preventicus, who gave a short training on the different onboarding processes. She also presented impressive wearable data that has been recorded over the last 2 years. Patient compliance is more than 95% and the data quality is sufficient for AI analyses. This is good news!
We are also pleased about the positive feedback from the study patients regarding the use of the wearable. Most patients want to keep and continue using their wearables after the end of the study. From this point onwards (and not before), the collected wearable data can be handed over to the patient. If patients are interested in their data, please let us know.
According to your feedback, we would very much like to fulfil patients’ wishes and provide a patient newsletter from now on quarterly. It is great that the study patients feel committed to MAESTRIA-AFNET 10 and are interested in more information about the MAESTRIA study and to stay up to date.
