The “EMERGE Cryo Study” From the Emergency department directly to ablation of atrial fibrillation
Study DESIGN
The study is a prospective, two-arm, randomized, open-label, blinded endpoint, multicenter study to investigate the impact of first line ablation in patients presenting at the emergency room with recent-onset paroxysmal or persistent atrial fibrillation.

Study objective
The purpose of the study is to investigate the impact of early ablation in patients presenting at the emergency room with recent-onset paroxysmal or persistent atrial fibrillation.
